Predicting Traits

Predicting traits ,  this is our last topic given . And for me this is an interesting topic because we learn about our family , antecedents , inherit traits , family pedigree , also to match the reccesive and dominant trait ( Probability ) to identify who the baby will look like more , also what are the 6 more common dominant traits  that are : free earlobe , widow s peak , dimples ,  atached earlobe , straigth hairline , and  finally no dimples . and other thing . Now i am going to explain you some more about the things that i have mention above . First i am going to talk you about the pedigree : the pedigree is is a chart used to trace  family history and traits . For example  for  a dissease in the family .

family dissease

This is a pedigree of a dissese of one of the integrants of the family that have been pass from parent to offspring and it shows the affect and unaffected integrants of the family . Now i am going to explain you how a punnet square works , the punnet square is like a probability machine because this process can determine how the baby would be more alike like i have said above . Here you can see a punnet square

This punnet square , shows many letters as you can see all of them are g and G in capital letter belive it or not this 2 simply ways of write the leters can determine a baby appearance . The G in capital letters means Dominant trait and the g in lower case means recessive trait  you can use all kind of letters but they ahve to have the same rule .Now that you have all this information you can create your own punnet square .

In conclusion this is more on less the most important about predicting traits .Ihope you understand and practice all this lessons you have learn .
