Simple Machine

Simple Machine : A device with few parts that makes it easier to do work.

My mom and I invent a simple machine to help on home works.

Effort force: The force applied to a machine .

 When you push or pull and object you applied  the effort force.  

Resistance force :  The force that a machine acts against

Resistance force is contrary to effort force.

Lever : a simple machine made of a rigid bar on a pivot point

Lever most be rigid bars and must rest on a pivot point.

Fulcrum : The pivot point of a lever.

Rigo, ask for a device to use as a fulcrum to upload the big stone.

Mechanical advantage : The number of times a machine multiples the forces applied

Mechanical advantage can be found for a pair of scissors.

Pulley : a grooved wheel that turns by the action of a rope in the groove .

The school use pulleys to pull down and up the national flag.

Wheel and axle : A simple machine made of a handle or axis attached to the center of a wheel.

Wheel and axel systems were used since our great great grandparents .
