How inclined planes work



Inclined plane  : Astraigth , slanted surface that is not moved when it is used .

Inclined planes are very useful simple machines .

Screw : An inclined plane wrapped around a central bar . 

Screws are used in constructions .

Wedge : One or a combination of two inclined plane that is move when used .

A wedge can be use to cut wood .


Compound Machine : A combination of two or more machines .



The scicsors are compound machines because they have more than one simple nachine .

efficency : A ratio of the work done by a machine compared with the workput ito the machine .



 

My mom tell me that house that use less energy using machines are efficently houses .
